Description
In this 4-week course, students take
the behaviors learned in Pet Manners
I and II into real-life, practical
situations. Real-Life Pet Manners is
the best way to take your training
on the road with a coach at your elbow.
Your DogPACT instructor will be there
to supervise each outing and coach
you about how to handle an excited
dog in an exciting environment.
- Test
your “Settle” while
enjoying coffee with other members
of your class at a nearby coffee
house.
- Practice
polite greetings during approaches
by friendly strangers.
- Use your “Down/Stay” while
withdrawing cash at the ATM and
then again while spending that
cash at a nearby pet store.
- Test
you “Leave It” in a
variety of tempting situations.
- Visit
the veterinary office and learn
how to keep your dog focused on
you. We’ll even teach you
how to get your dog to weigh itself
on the scale!
Pet Manners I
and II—or
permission of
the instructor—is
a prerequisite
for enrollment
in Real-Life Pet
Manners. Each
Real-Life Pet
Manners class
lasts 50 minutes.
Cost is $85.00
for the four-week
course. Due to
the small class
size, pre-enrollment
is required.
